Purpose of this website
This website provides general information about Research Triangle Counseling’s affordable counseling opportunities. Its content is not individualized mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment and does not replace care from a qualified professional.
No therapist-client relationship
Viewing this website, joining our interest list, receiving emails, or submitting an inquiry does not, by itself, establish a therapist-client relationship with Research Triangle Counseling or any of its clinicians. Joining the interest list is not consent to treatment. Any counseling services require a separate intake and informed-consent process.
Interest list and availability
Joining the interest list allows you to receive updates about available services and appointment opportunities. It does not reserve an appointment, guarantee services, or establish priority for scheduling. Availability, populations served, service options, and anticipated start dates may change.
Service suitability and supervised care
Available services depend on provider training, clinical supervision, and capacity. A consultation or assessment helps determine whether an available service is appropriate for your needs. Some concerns may require a different provider or level of care. Services offered through our internship program are provided by graduate counseling interns under licensed clinical supervision.
Fees and scheduling
Fees vary according to the service, session length, and applicable financial arrangements. Fees and relevant scheduling policies will be explained before you commit to services. Joining the interest list does not obligate you to schedule or pay for counseling.
Email communications and sensitive information
When you provide your email and agree to receive updates, we may email you about this counseling program, services, rates, and appointment availability. You may unsubscribe using the link in those emails.
Please do not submit symptoms, diagnoses, trauma histories, insurance details, or other sensitive health information through the interest form. It is intended for contact information only. Clinical information should be shared through the practice’s designated intake process.
Urgent needs
This website, interest list, and related email communications are not crisis services and are not monitored continuously. Do not wait for an interest-list response if you need urgent help. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
